About Silver Roots

Compassionate recreation therapy rooted in dignity, connection, and meaningful engagement.

Our story

Silver Roots Therapeutic Recreation & Respite was founded by Naomi, a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with a deep commitment to supporting older adults and their families.

Through years of experience working in long-term care, supportive living, and adult day programs, Naomi saw how meaningful engagement could transform daily life for older adults. She also saw the challenges families face when trying to ensure their loved ones remain active, connected, and supported.

Silver Roots was created to provide personalized recreation therapy that focuses on the individual: their interests, their abilities, and their life story.
